Winner of the Francouvertes 2024, Soleil Launière is an Innu multidisciplinary artist from Mashteuiatsh. Her debut album, Taueu, explores themes of language identity, femininity and matriarchy. On stage, with seasoned CHANCES musicians and Simon Walls, she combines vocal harmonies and strong percussion with performance art. This intriguing and daring new soul-roots project transports the audience into a deep and gripping experience.
