The reading circle – La courtepointe culturelle is a monthly meeting where, in the month leading up to the meeting, participants all read the same book related to a theme day, a national holiday, etc.
A month later, they meet to share their thoughts on the work they have studied and what struck them about it. The discussion goes beyond the book itself to address current issues.

Born in Hungary in 1976, Akos Verboczy arrived in Quebec at the age of eleven. Here, he recounts how he gradually, (almost) painlessly, came to embrace Quebec culture and share its ideals.
This is a timely book at a moment in our history when the question of our identity and our relationships with all the “others” who share our corner of the world is perhaps more acute than ever.
