The Rouyn-Noranda Municipal Library is proud to welcome the Huskies for a very special, friendly, and inspiring event! A unique opportunity for young people to meet their favourite players… at the library.
On the agenda:
5:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. • Children welcome
5:30 p.m. • Player introductions + discussion with our facilitator.
We’ll talk about reading, their school memories, the Olympics, and the reality of studying while playing hockey. (A great way to highlight the upcoming School Perseverance Week!)
5:45 p.m. • Reading of Karl Subban’s story, “The Hockey Skates.” The young players will listen to the story with the children.
6:00 p.m. • Autograph session, photos, and free visit to the children’s section
7:00 p.m. • End of the event
A simple, warm, and sporty moment. At the library, even sports become an inspiring story!
A free activity — All young people are welcome.
