Day 1: Upon your afternoon arrival in Rouyn-Noranda, settle in for the night at Noranda Hôtel & Spa (D). For your first outing, enjoy an appetizer and discover a craft beer at Broue Pub La Perdrix (6), then head to Cellier Resto/Bar à vins (21) for an excellent meal. A late night craving? Why not succumb in the “best poutine in the world” at Chez Morasse (9)?
Day 2: After a good breakfast at the hotel, set off to explore on foot. A few steps away, stop off at Jezz prêt à manger Traiteur (16), offering a wide variety of take-out dishes. Don’t forget to choose an irresistible dessert from Desserts créations de Mélissa! Then, head to Parc Trémoy by the shores of Lac Osisko for a picnic with an incredible view. In the afternoon, take a stroll through the neighborhood to discover murals and sculptures (marked in purple on the map), and wrap up your day with a relaxing stop for a book and a glass of wine at Bar-Librairie Livresse (4).

Day 2: After a restful night, take a morning stroll to Le Saint-Exupéry (22), where you’ll be charmed by the delicious breakfasts and the warm ambiance inspired by The Little Prince! Then, make your way to Lac Osisko to relax near the iconic Cinquantenaire Fountain, better known to locals as the “Luminous Fountain.” For lunch, try Olive & Basil (30), a true institution in Rouyn-Noranda for over 20 years.
