Everyone agrees that Ariane Roy, a leading figure on Quebec City’s now-famous music scene, recipient of the Revelation of the Year award at the 2022 ADISQ Gala, Radio-Canada Revelation of the Year 2021-2022, a two-time JUNO Award nominee, winner of the 2022 Félix-Leclerc Award, the FEQ Emerging Artist Award, and many more accolades, is clearly destined to shine among our biggest stars.
Following the release of her debut album, Medium Plaisir (2022), Ariane made a name for herself by electrifying stages across Quebec with a high-energy show, showcasing the brilliance that has driven her since her very beginnings. The singer-songwriter now returns with Dogue, a second album that marks a departure from her previous work. Co-directed with Félix Petit (Hubert Lenoir, Les Louanges, Bonnie Banane), Dogue shows its teeth, yes, to smile, but at whose expense? We don’t care, since we can’t resist lying down before those fangs, hoping to join the pack.
The opening act will be Et on Déjeune.
This show is produced by the Petit Théâtre du Vieux Noranda, and a solidarity ticketing system applies.
