Following the death of film critic René Homier-Roy, his estate donated a collection of works by major Quebec artists to the Musée d’art de Rouyn-Noranda. A fervent supporter of the Festival de cinéma international en Abitibi-Témiscamingu, René Homier-Roy maintained a special connection with the region. Including works by Claude Tousignant, Guido Molinari, Serge Lemoyne, Kittie Bruneau, and Fernand Leduc, this collection reflects his interest in Quebec art and will now enrich the Musée’s holdings.
