LNI tackles the classics

28 March 2024

Doors open: 7:30 p.m.
Show starts: 8:00 pm

Theater explained, performed, experienced… and created live!

How do you improvise in the style of Molière, Shakespeare, Michel Tremblay, Ionesco, Evelyne de la Chenelière and Robert Lepage? Can the artists of Théâtre de la LNI create a live work that will give you the impression of discovering the lost and found play of an illustrious playwright?

LNI tackles the classics, taking up the challenge of exploring the work of major playwrights through the medium of improvisational theatre, deconstructing it and extracting the characteristic elements to better grasp its essence. First part: exploration. We (re)discover the artist’s universe. Second part: the final test: the creation of a live piece in the style of the artist being explored. An innovative and spectacular concept, a daring show that’s both enriching and fun, combining challenge and creativity: make way for theater!
