To celebrate its 100th anniversary, the City of Rouyn-Noranda is proud to announce a new series of acoustic performances that will enliven the church squares of four rural neighbourhoods this summer. In collaboration with the trio Les Gringalets and storyteller Guillaume Beaulieu, this Théâtre du Cuivre project offers a unique immersive experience blending musical rhythms and historical narratives.
The public is invited to discover the eclectic repertoire of Les Gringalets, which ranges from bluegrass and swing jazz to traditional folk music. To enrich the experience, storyteller Guillaume Beaulieu will intersperse the performances with historical anecdotes related to local heritage, creating a bridge between the music and the identity of our neighbourhoods.
