Why voluntarily put yourself through dozens of kilometres only to end up back where you started?
Faced with the apparent absurdity of running, Étienne questions the deep motivations that drive him to rack up the miles week after week. Through a personal narrative combining humour, self-deprecation, and reflective thinking, L’Expérience marathon explores the foundations of self-determination.
A cross etween a lecture, stand-up comedy, and theatre, this show—still in its early stages—offers a sensitive and playful exploration of what drives us to persevere, to surpass ourselves… and to keep going, even when the meaning seems to escape us.
Presented on tour in community halls in rural neighbourhoods of Rouyn-Noranda, the show reaches out to audiences to gather constructive feedback to improve the production. Admission is free and open to all.
