The Hard Bop Legend: Kenny Dorham concert, presented by the Quiet Quintet, is a tribute to the memory and legacy of Kenny Dorham, one of the most influential yet underrated trumpeters of African-American jazz in the 1950s and 60s.

Hard bop, which emerged in the 1950s, invigorated jazz with influences from blues, gospel, and R&B. More intense and groovy, it features catchy melodies, percussive rhythms, and fiery solos!
