L’Écart invites you to attend the residency of the collective Et tu, Machine on Thursday June 22nd in an open studio format.
On the menu: Performance, artist presentation and refreshments!
Through their eco-friendly performances and installations, the collective addresses misogyny, white privilege, heteronormativity, and global warming with humor and absurdity, as evidenced by their most recent project OUFF, premiering at La Chapelle Scènes Contemporaines in May 2019. And tu, Machine seeks to divert the primary function of materials and reject the imperatives of production in a total spirit of “queer engineering.”
