After a full year of celebrations, the 100th anniversary invites you to its final major event!

For three days, come discover local artisans and producers, enjoy entertainment and activities for all ages, and immerse yourself in a magical atmosphere of lights, decorations, wooden chalets, and festive characters.

Among the weekend’s highlights, a grand parade will travel through downtown to Vieux-Noranda on Saturday morning, featuring floats, groups, organizations, businesses, and community participants.

The weekend will also be marked by a spectacular arrival of Santa Claus in Rouyn-Noranda, in addition to a host of entertainment and activities for all ages.

Program:

Thursday and Friday: Outdoor and indoor market from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Saturday:

– Grand parade from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.

– Outdoor and indoor market from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.

– Activities from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Location:

The festivities will take place primarily in Vieux-Noranda, at the corner of 7th Street and Murdoch Avenue, at the Petit Théâtre du Vieux Noranda, and at the Agora des Arts.

The grand parade will begin at Place de la Citoyenneté, travel through the downtown core, and then head to Vieux-Noranda, where the festivities will continue.

Cost:

Access to the site, the parade, and the various activities will be free. However, some activities or products offered on-site may be subject to a fee.

New cabins specially designed for the 100th anniversary will also be inaugurated during the event. Inspired by the built environment of Rouyn-Noranda, they will remain in the community and can be used for future events.
