In August 2019, the City of Rouyn-Noranda and Hydro-Québec inaugurated the Parc de l’Énergie located at the entrance to the Cadillac neighbourhood. The park features a turbine formerly used at Rapide-7 generating station, surrounded by several interpretation panels. They allow the public to learn more about Hydro-Québec’s presence in the region, as well as to recall part of Rouyn-Noranda’s history.
