Three fishing huts are now available to residents and tourists wishing to go ice fishing on Lake Osisko in Rouyn-Noranda. Located on the edge of the peninsula, they are accessible to the general public, free of charge!
You can borrow equipment from the hut lockers to drill fishing holes. To do so, go to the Corporation de La maison Dumulon, 191 avenue du Lac, and leave a $20 deposit to obtain the key to one of the lockers. You can pick up your deposit when you return the key.
Please note that it is not possible to reserve fishing huts. The “first come, first served” rule applies here.
Anglers will find mainly yellow perch and walleye. Consumption is authorized following studies carried out by the Ministry of the Environment. As for fish flesh, we recommend limiting consumption to two meals a month.
The collective offers introductory ice fishing activities on Osisko Lake, with professional guides and ecological animation. Are you an organization, association or company? These activities are for you! For more information, contact us: info@collectifterritoire.org / 819-762-0314
