My husband and I love to have breakfast together: we love the St-Exupéry in Rouyn. The eggs Benedict are simply fabulous, the coffee is excellent and the atmosphere is great!

Judith Létourneau citizen

Le Gisement, for a sweet treat with family or friends!

Martine Gélinas Resident

Our gourmet address: The Moulin Noir! The welcome, the service, the quality of the place and what can I say about the food… We always celebrate our birthdays at Moulin Noir.

Francine Bachand Resident

RécréOsisko is my treasure! It gives access to multiple ways to discover our iconic lake. It’s amazing to be able to move through the city, a body of water and the forest in the same activity that is either free or low cost in winter as well as in summer.

Noémie C. Boudreault Resident

The Pâtissières de Ruelle! For the vintage decor and their fabulous cupcakes.

Laurie G. Resident

The Collines Kekeko, a great place to escape for a few moments in nature. It’s 15 minutes from downtown and there are several levels of difficulty for the trails. I enjoy it in summer and winter.

Hubert C. Resident

In my favorites, there is the microbrewery Trèfle Noir to try new beers and their nachos with jerky.

Fanny T. Resident

My treasure is the Bar-Librairie Livresse to take a break and enjoy a glass of wine and read a book.

Karine C Resident

Kiwanis trails (walking and cross-country skiing) in winter for its proximity and the
fact that you feel like you’re in the woods even though you’re 5 min from downtown!

Alice B. Resident

One of my pleasures is to drink a latte at Le Gisement Bistro-Chocolaterie after a hike or a day of shopping. It’s warm and comforting!

Sarah G. Resident

Shopping Centres

You prefer to avoid the risk of getting caught in bad weather? Rouyn-Noranda has two distinct shopping centres.

Inaugurated in 1972, Place Rouanda was not only the first shopping centre to open its doors in Abitibi-Témiscamingue, but it was also the first one built north of Montréal. Some fifteen stores and major retail chains have established themselves there.
