During your visit, if you have time, we invite you to drop by Rouyn-Noranda’s Tourist Information Office (1675 Ave. Larivière), to obtain a free tourist parking permit.

This courtesy permit allows you to park free of charge in any street or municipal parking lots.

1. The permit is available only to visitors living outside the Rouyn-Noranda MRC during the congress.
2. It is valid on Rouyn-Noranda territory for 3 days (nonrenewable during the same stay).
3. The driver of the vehicle must appear in person with his or her license plate number and driver’s license (proof of residence), so that we can explain how the permit works.
4. The permit is effective as soon as it is issued to the driver.

The permit is not valid in the following areas:

• parking meters limited to 15 minutes
• airport
• hospital
• CEGEP
• UQAT
• La Source/Polymétier
• Centre Élisabeth-Bruyère.

Please note:

According to municipal regulations, parking on public roads is prohibited between 2 a.m. and 7 a.m. from November 1 to March 31 inclusively.

Overnight parking spaces are available in certain municipal parking lots.
