Especially for those who love wide open spaces and are looking for a thrill. For France Lemire and her accomplices, skiing the 100 kilometers annually, in complete autonomy, is a rendezvous with oneself. Indeed, they have to overcome this immense expanse of ice and snow, which is an effort to surpass themselves. Each crossing has its share of surprises. For example, the extreme temperatures, the different snow conditions, the blizzards and the mild weather make sliding difficult. Finally, with the sun on their faces and a smile on their faces, they reach the finish line filled with gratitude, pride and emotion.
