Montreal pianist Jean-Michel Blais combines the melodic pop sensibilities of Yann Tiersen and Chilly Gonzales with the stunning technical mastery of minimalist composers like Philip Glass and Erik Satie. Following the sublime Il and Dans ma main, Blais unveiled a new album entitled Aubades on February 4th on the MKX/Decca and Arts&Crafts labels.
