Annika Chambers, like most of the great African-American singers, started singing in church in her youth. The influence of Gospel music is evident in her Blues. Annika won the Best Soul Blues Singer at the Blues Music Awards in 2019 and 2022 as well as the Living Blues Award for Best Southern Soul Album in 2020. Her latest solo album Kiss My Sass, released in 2019 debuted at #4 on the Billboard Blues chart.

Recognized among Canada’s elite blues artists, guitarist/vocalist Paul DesLauriers is a Maple Blues Award winner for Artist of the Year (2016, 2017), Electric Band of the Year (2016), Guitarist of the Year (2013, 2019). In 2016, his band won 2nd place at the 32nd International Blues Challenge. His most recent album Bounce (May 2019) debuted at #1 on the Roots Music Report chart and stayed there for several weeks.
