“Biodanza is a poetics of human encounter.”
Rolando Toro Araneda
Creator of Biodanza, psychiatrist, anthropologist, teacher, painter and poet.
Biodanza means “Dance of Life” because what we dance in Biodanza is Life. Biodanza is an experience to be lived, rooted in music, movement, the group, the encounter with oneself and with others.
Biodanza stimulates our health, vitality and joie de vivre through progressive, organically-integrating dance exercises. It’s all done in a safe, caring environment, so that we can experience and explore who we really are – because our dances are about us! And because in joy and trust, life has more meaning.
To come to a Biodanza session, you don’t need to know how to dance, just come as you are. Smiles, Joy, Vitality, Creativity will be our dance partners.
