After a year-long hiatus from the stage, Jean-Christophe Lessard returns to Rouyn-Noranda in solo mode.
A singer-songwriter of Temiscabitian origin, Lessard delivers ethereal folk-rock with a softly committed flavor.
In 2022, he unveiled Nous resterons vivants, a debut album warmly welcomed by critics and audiences alike. A velvety, Nick Drake-like opus, with splendid flights of string and a poetry of wide-open spaces and hope.
These are his last appearances before the release of his next singles, due out in late 2024 and 2025.
Tickets on sale at Café-Bar L’Abstracto only. Cost: $20. Show for ages 18 and up.
