For this new edition, the Fédération des médecins omnipraticiens du Québec and the Grand défi Pierre Lavoie are once again joining forces to encourage Quebecers to adopt healthy lifestyle habits. Regular physical activity is one of the most effective ways of preventing many diseases. That’s why La Grande Marche is an initiative prescribed by family doctors.
This free event, open to all, will take place simultaneously in over 100 cities across Quebec. Whether you choose a 2.5 km or 5 km route, you’ll be helping to promote the importance of healthy lifestyle habits, while having a great time with family and friends.
By taking part in La Grande Marche 2024, you’re taking a step towards a healthier Quebec!
– Course: 2.5 km on the trails and 5 km in the surrounding streets.
– Leashed dogs welcome.
– A snack will be offered before the start, and entertainment awaits you before and after the walk.
– Door prize draw on site.
– Restrooms and parking available nearby (Promutuel Assurance Boréale and avenue Senator).
– Course and site accessible to people with reduced mobility.
