We’ve been picking them since childhood, offering them, receiving them, giving them to ourselves to embellish our lives, our little corner of survival. They’re beautiful, romantic, alive and then dead. Even dead, they remain beautiful and tell stories. They never quite die. They have many lives – perhaps not as many as cats, but not far off.
Christian Leduc loves flowers in all their forms. But dried flowers even more so. He brings this flora back to life by creating still lifes. By playing with light and focus, he creates surreal arrangements that make the flowers suddenly have something else to say.
