As part of the Fête de la pêche, youngsters aged 5 to 17 can learn about sport fishing by completing the Pêche en herbe course. Following this training, they will receive a fishing certificate (permit) valid until the age of 18.
The workshop is divided into two parts:
– A one-hour theoretical portion, offered at the Kiwanis beach on Noranda Lake.
– A hands-on workshop at Lac Despériers, Kékéko Hills, accessible by bus (transportation included).
Bus departure schedule (depending on time slot selected):
– 9 a.m. time slot → bus departure at 10:15 a.m.
– 11 a.m. time slot → bus departs at 12:15 p.m.
– 1 p.m. time slot → bus departs at 2:15 p.m.
A maximum of 50 participants per time slot.
Total limit: 150 lucky ones!
