Botanical Garden and geological garden
Discover this jewel of greenery located in the heart of downtown Rouyn-Noranda! You’ll find over 25,000 plants, trees and shrubs adapted to the climatic conditions of the Abitibi-Témiscamingue region. There’s also a geological garden inside the park, where you can learn about the region’s geology and mining development using large-scale stones. Wheelchair-accessible trails, a boardwalk encircling Lac Édouard, picnic areas, bocce courts, a baseball diamond and a playground are also available.
Free admission to the park at all times.
