In the heart of the city of Rouyn-Noranda, a pretty little network of hilly terrain propels you into the wilderness. Whether you are cross-country skiing, snowshoeing or simply walking, the wilderness is waiting for you. The trails have two entry points: Kiwanis Beach and Senator Road. Once you have passed the railroad tracks, you can venture into the woods on the edge of town. Lakes, forests and marshes follow one another with a few climbs and descents that will please you. The maintenance of the trails is done entirely by volunteers and financially supported by the Kiwanis Club of Rouyn-Noranda.
Dogs are allowed on snowshoe trails only and must be kept on a leash.
