Alice refuses to go to bed, preferring to play in front of her mirror, inventing a thousand and one characters, dreaming of being a great and acclaimed actress. All of a sudden, applause breaks out – applause coming from her mirror! Alice approaches the mirror and steps through to the other side… of the show.
