Avril Jensen would have loved to be an astronaut. Or a screenwriter. Perhaps these alternative versions of herself exist in other dimensions. Over here, the stars wanted her to become a musician. It was, so to speak, written in the sky. More on the left side of the force, the young artist’s pop unfolds in French and English, and sits in a surprising place, at the intersection of acoustic and trap. A studio regular, she sees her medium as a playground for telling countless narratives. She will be presenting her first Anglophone EP, entitled COLORS.
