A WORKSHOP AND CONCERT FOR $10
Looking for a more creative way to get your message across and express yourself freely? This workshop is for you!
On Saturday, April 12, you’ll be accompanied by Gabrielle Demers, mother-poet and multidisciplinary visual artist, for a creative writing workshop of a collective text addressing issues of self-affirmation and self-expression. The following day, musician Charli Arresteilles will help you set your words to music, using musical mixing software. Are you a musician? Bring your instrument(s)! If not, singing and your hands will be your best allies!
No prerequisites.
Registration for the workshop guarantees a pair of tickets to the Calamine concert.
Show :
Calamine – Décroissance personnelle, April 26, 9 p.m.
Queer rapper, feminist and anti-capitalist, Calamine offers a concert that presents itself as a manifesto of queer irreverence, a festive and casual process of hetero-patriarchy and an eco-anxious lament whose enthusiasm and cynicism compete. In the face of neo-liberal indecency, personal degrowth invites us to dance to the decay of the world, embrace the intellectual bad faith of populists and reclaim our status as waste in a perspective of empouvoirement.
