Sound installation – In French
I am a man. I am black. I grew up in Haiti. I moved to Quebec in January 2010. I am what they call an immigrant. At the Montreal airport, after the usual checks, the immigration officer smiled at me: “Welcome home! This project is a literary narrative in which I question the expression “chez moi” and its variations in order to explore my relationship as an immigrant to the imaginary, real, mythical space of Abitibi-Témiscamingue and to otherness.
