The Early Jazz band returns to Le Cachottier on June 6! Come and enjoy their music!
The Early Jazz Band is a group of seasoned musicians who draw their repertoire from the New Orleans of the ’20s and the Swing of the ’30s and ’40s, embellishing it with subtle personal arrangements and wild improvisations. With numerous performances in swing towns and schools across Quebec, at some of the most important Swing events including the Canadian Swing Championship, and at major events such as the Festival International de Jazz de Montréal, as well as those in Quebec City and Rimouski, and Montréal en Lumières, the ensemble was even asked by the Montreal Planetarium to record the music for one of their presentations, and became the first jazz group in Montreal to take part in Candlelight concerts. One thing’s for sure, this group will make you forget all your worries, transporting you into the festive spirit of the Roaring Twenties and giving you the opportunity to dance with unparalleled energy!
