These works by Stéphanie Matte are an assemblage of objects, ideas, places, memories of aesthetic experiences and stories told through various encounters. These reworked and synthesized elements are deposited on clean white spaces and without reference to a real context. They exist by themselves and in the outside world. A narrative and intriguing poetry emerges.
