50th Edition! The Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour is back!

In January and February 2026, the tour celebrates 50 years of pure achievement. Experience breathtaking images of exceptional men and women pushing their limits. A must-see cinematic experience celebrating passion and daring.

The final program will be revealed in November 2025. With 23 cities visited, the Quebec leg of the tour is one of the largest on the World Tour, which travels to more than 40 countries. This year, nearly 600 films were submitted to the jury, an all-time record. Of these, approximately 80 are screened for festivalgoers.

Doors open: 6:30 p.m.
Event starts: 7:00 p.m.
Seated event
The evening lasts three hours in total, including intermission and a raffle.
The program is the same for each screening.
The films are presented in their original language with French subtitles to preserve their authenticity.
Many prizes are drawn after the intermission.
A photographic exhibition on a different theme each year accompanies the tour.
