The City of Rouyn-Noranda’s candy drive will take place on Saturday, October 26, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., in all city neighbourhoods.
Citizens are kindly requested to respect the prescribed hours.
Here are a few tips to help you celebrate safely:
– Wear light-colored clothing or clothing with reflective stripes to be visible;
– Avoid masks to see and hear well;
– Turn on a flashlight to see better and be seen;
– Ring doorbells in a group or with an adult, and always wait outside houses;
– Walk only one side of the street at a time and avoid crossing unnecessarily.
The City of Rouyn-Noranda recommends the utmost vigilance, urges motorists to be extra careful, and thanks the many volunteers who take part in the event.
