In 1921, in the Argentine city of Mar del Plata, a certain Astor Piazzolla was born. To celebrate the 100th anniversary of this famous composer’s birth, our guitar and cello duo will take you on a journey to the sounds of his greatest youthful inspirations. From Bach to Ginastera, through Bartók and the great jazz musician Ellington, explore the musical and inner journey of a bandoneonist who became the greatest tango composer of the 20th century.
