L’Improvisatorium is much more than an improv show: it’s an unconventional experience where improvisers from Rouyn-Noranda and Abitibi-Témiscamingue push their limits. This unique concept will be masterfully orchestrated by our two hosts, Louis-Jean Lebel and Christian Matte.
The result of a collaboration between L’Improvisatorium and the Petit Théâtre du Vieux Noranda, this event offers a festive playground where teenagers and adults come together to share laughter, creativity, and spontaneity in front of an enthusiastic audience. With its monthly format, always on the last Thursday of the month, the evening becomes an easy date to remember for improv fans.
In the past, we have seen such unusual concepts as a fake wrestling gala, an American-style talk show, “long-form” improv evenings, and improvised musicals on Rouyn-Noranda’s public pianos.
