Discover a central element of our local heritage, the church of Saint-Ignace-de-Loyola in Cloutier.
You’re invited to an open house combined with a heritage video shooting project. The Cloutier Recreation and Development Committee invites you to attend, whether or not you’re familiar with this historic building. For those who’ve never been there, it’s an opportunity to discover it. For those who are familiar with it, come and rediscover it and share your memories and your attachment to this building.
Friday, September 6, 7-9.30pm:
Guided tour: doors open to discover or rediscover the church;
Video shooting: capture of stories, anecdotes and testimonials from participants on the history of the church and the importance of preserving it. The video will be enriched at a later date with archive images and historical information.
We also invite members of the public to bring significant objects relating to the history of the church, to enrich the tours.
