“My name is Malie Lessard-Therrien, I’m a biologist, outdoor guide and adventurer. I travel the world discovering wilderness, meeting fascinating cultures, and with the desire to push my limits.
At the Petits Explorateurs evening on December 7, I’ll be revealing the wonders of Mongolia. I discovered this country on horseback, as the Mongolian people have done for millennia. I also explored one of the national parks, backpacked, on a long hike. So I’ll introduce you to the immense windswept steppes, the distinctive mountain flora and sacred temples. I’ll tell you about the rich culture and diet of nomadic peoples, yurt life and the history of conquering warriors.
I’ll take you with me to meet endearing people along the way, vast landscapes and a people where modern life meets the ancestral life of free nomads. I look forward to seeing you there! ”
