A native of Amos, Michel Poissant has lived in Kipawa for 42 years, where he has worked in forestry and put into production a 15,000-tap maple grove that he has looked after for over 25 years. Since 2017, he has traveled to Southeast Asia three times, alone with his backpack, without a predetermined itinerary, following his whims and chance encounters.
