6 p.m.
Carol Courchesne will close the summer park readings with texts by Akim Gagnon. “While reading Le cigare au bord des lèvres, but especially Granby au passé simple by Akim Gagnon, I laughed a lot and almost cried (but since I’m a real guy, I held back). So I intend, by dipping into these two novels, to let you experience these emotions while telling you a snippet of this original father-son love story.” Come and listen to this touching, poignant and heartfelt reading that will make you feel all kinds of emotions, from laughter and smiles to tears. It’s an evening not to be missed!
Please note that this reading is intended for an adult audience. Don’t forget to bring your blankets, chairs and drinks for your comfort.
In case of rain, the readings will take place inside the public library.
