Les Bitches de Bois, two drag queens in their own time, invite you to an evening of readings at Place de la Paix. Phoenix Mockingbird, the experienced woman, and Médame Chose, the young ingenue, will read texts that are sometimes contradictory, sometimes complementary, about the women of their respective eras.
Is it the old guard, with texts from the Encyclopédie de la femme canadienne, or the openness to female sexuality of lines from the Vagina Monologues that best represent the life of a fulfilled woman? Come and find out in this unique and captivating evening for adults.
In case of rain, the readings will take place inside the municipal library.
Don’t forget to bring your blankets, chairs and beverages for your comfort.
