Luc De Larochellière’s Rhapsodie lavalloise is twelve songs in one, told from the memories of a 10-year-old boy in Laval in 1976. Many will find themselves in these stories, straight out of this touching reminiscence set against the backdrop of the Olympic Games and the Parti Québécois’ rise to power. Set against a cinematic visual backdrop inspired by Luc’s own drawings, it features the complete musical work, amalgamated with humorous and emotional confidences.
To complete the nostalgic mood of the show, Luc will perform songs from his repertoire, and tell us about their genesis.
In short, a journey through time where the past meets the present!
