In a working-class region of Sweden, sisters Laura (16), Mira (12) and Steffi (7) fend for themselves. Their life is happy, carefree and anarchic, far from adults, but it’s put on hold by a summons from social services. Laura must find someone to play the role of their mother, or they will be placed in foster care and separated.
