“What’s left for a man when the taste of French fries has replaced that of women?”
A random village, lost in the vastness, deserted by women and industry. Those who remain, deprived of their raison d’être, have buried their dreams with the shop. The Girl, on the other hand, has fled to the city, abandoned her father and her lover, and denied the world she was born into. She returns to confront her past, expecting to suffer the vengeance of her own people.
Théâtre du Tandem’s mission is to create theater in Abitibi-Témiscamingue. Bold and committed, it places dialogue between artists and communities at the heart of its creative process.
