What to do

Collines Kekeko and observation tower Le Nid de l’épervier

All year round

Less than 12 kilometres from Rouyn-Noranda, the Collines Kekeko trails have 15 marked hiking trails full of points of interest; panoramic viewpoints, escarpments, rock shelters and waterfalls. This vast landscape is best experienced on foot, as the secret beauty of the forest can only be captured on foot. You can walk or snowshoe about 43 km on easy to expert trails.

The Collines Kekeko massif covers approximately 32.2 km2 and offers snowshoers and other nature lovers who frequent it, the tranquility and intimate beauty of the forest. The entire site is maintained by volunteers.

The Collines Kekeko are also crossed by a long distance hiking trail, the Transkeko, which can be crossed in about seven hours.
