La Nuit Blanche de Rouyn-Noranda, organized by confluences.lab (Department of Creation and New Media at the Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue), promises a unique artistic and reflective immersion under the theme Amplify the Night.
Inspired by the world’s great metropolises, Nuit Blanche is the ideal opportunity to bring communities together in a celebration of culture.
The event will cover the Vieux-Noranda district and the downtown area.

Firmly rooted in the Abitibi-Témiscamingue region, confluences.lab is a laboratory where partnered research, research-creation and more traditional research projects are articulated.
Its mission is to explore the role of culture within a community through innovative research, creation and knowledge dissemination activities. It aspires to become a nerve center for reflection and innovation, contributing in particular to the vitalization of Old Noranda and its role as the City of Rouyn-Noranda’s creative district.
