Botanical Park and Geological Garden
Discover this gem of nature located in the heart of downtown Rouyn-Noranda! Created in 1989, the À fleur d’eau botanical park now features over 25,000 plants, trees and shrubs adapted to the climatic conditions of the region as well as a boardwalk surrounding Lake Edward. A geological garden is also located inside the park, providing information on the geology and mining development of the region.
Wheelchair-accessible trails, a boardwalk encircling Lac Édouard, picnic areas, bocce courts, a baseball diamond and a playground are also available.
Free admission to the park at all times.
