Mount Powell is the preferred option for mountain biking fans. Trails offer breathtaking panoramic views, a wide variety of wildlife, tree species, and an abundance of berries.
How to get there
Being located near downtown, it is possible to get there by bike in less than 15 minutes from Rouyn-Noranda.
Take boulevard Saguenay North. At the traffic lights near the cemetery, turn left on chemin Bradley. Immediately after the cemetery, turn right on chemin Powell.

Although designed for biking, the trails remain accessible to hikers, runners and snowshoers in summer and winter.
The club Vélo Action de Rouyn-Noranda develops and maintains this network of trails in the Mont Powell sector. It has the authorization of the landowner as well as the approval of the Ville de Rouyn-Noranda to develop this sector. Although designed for cycling, the trails are accessible to walkers, runners and snowshoers in summer and winter. The club works on a volunteer basis in this area and to date has invested over $50,000 in the trails. It believes that these trails should be accessible to the entire community.
