My husband and I love to have breakfast together: we love the St-Exupéry in Rouyn. The eggs Benedict are simply fabulous, the coffee is excellent and the atmosphere is great!

Le parc botanique à fleur d’eau: close to downtown, for walking the trails, admiring the landscaping and the beautiful flowers . A real beauty!

Our gourmet address: The Moulin Noir! The welcome, the service, the quality of the place and what can I say about the food… We always celebrate our birthdays at Moulin Noir.

RécréOsisko is my treasure! It gives access to multiple ways to discover our iconic lake. It’s amazing to be able to move through the city, a body of water and the forest in the same activity that is either free or low cost in winter as well as in summer.

Noémie C. Boudreault Resident

The Pâtissières de Ruelle! For the vintage decor and their fabulous cupcakes.

The Collines Kekeko, a great place to escape for a few moments in nature. It’s 15 minutes from downtown and there are several levels of difficulty for the trails. I enjoy it in summer and winter.

Osisko en lumière! Lots of outdoor shows on the shores of Osisko Lake. It’s magical!

In my favorites, there is the microbrewery Trèfle Noir to try new beers and their nachos with jerky.

My treasure is the Bar-Librairie Livresse to take a break and enjoy a glass of wine and read a book.

My favorite is the Joannès Adventure Park and its tree-to-tree course. After being hot, you can even go swimming at the beach just next door.

Samuel G. Resident

I love to have a hot chocolate at Le Gisement after walking the bike path near Osisko Lake. It’s important to do it in this order, it’s the best remedy for mental fatigue due to work and studies.

Gabrielle C. Resident

Kiwanis trails (walking and cross-country skiing) in winter for its proximity and the
fact that you feel like you’re in the woods even though you’re 5 min from downtown!

Alice B. Resident

My treasure in Rouyn-Noranda is definitely the hiking trail around Noranda Lake (Kiwanis Agnico Eagle Recreational Area). What I like the most about this place is the variety of landscapes that follow one another.  It’s a great place to work on your cardio and to unwind from the city bustle with the birds and squirrels.

One of my pleasures is to drink a latte at Le Gisement Bistro-Chocolaterie after a hike or a day of shopping. It’s warm and comforting!

Mont Kanasuta! I particularly like this place for its superb view and the winter sports that I can practice with my entire family. On cooler days, you can even spend some time in the warm chalet.

Geneviève L. Resident

One of my favorite places to enjoy winter is the Granada Cross Country Ski Club located a few kilometers from the downtown area. With its three chalets, its well-maintained and accessible trails, it is an absolute must to enjoy nature.
