Located between Rouyn-Noranda and Taschereau, this 56-km former rail line invites cyclists to immerse themselves in the Abitibi-Témiscamingue landscape. The stone dust trail is part of the Route verte.
*Please note that the Cyclo-voie is not accessible from one end to the other for an undetermined period due to repairs. Two sections are closed to traffic until further notice.

At the start, the D’Alembert swamp welcomes you with its beavers and birdlife. The trail passes through breathtaking agricultural landscapes and leads to the Parc of Cléricy, a perfect spot for a well-deserved break. Playground and picnic areas are available in the park. Next, your path takes you through vast wetlands where beavers, ducks, snipe and herons live side by side. Bridges span rivers and streams, including the majestic Rivière Dufresnoy.

Opening period: Summer season until hunting season opens.
The bike path crosses an area where hunters are numerous. The city is therefore asking hikers and cyclists to stay off the path during the hunting season.
It is important to remember that the Cyclo-voie is reserved for foot traffic, bicycles and electric wheelchairs used by people with mobility impairments. Unless specifically authorized, all motorized traffic is prohibited on the bike path.
